Peachjar improves school-to-home communication for the Frederick County Public Schools by streamlining school flyer distribution and delivering eflyers directly to parents.

Peachjar is committed to helping school districts ensure parents stay informed about important activities and events that enrich the lives of children. In an effort to improve parent and community engagement, Frederick County Public Schools is now using Peachjar to send digital flyer directly to parents.

“Our transition to Peachjar has gone very smoothly,” stated Steve Edwards, coordinator of policy and communications for Frederick County Public Schools. “Those organizations who have used Peachjar to distribute flyers have found it to be user-friendly and effective in reaching parents and students. In addition, many of our schools have started using Peachjar to distribute their school newsletters and information about special events. Thanks to Peachjar, we're saving time and money while being more environmentally friendly."

In just two months, Frederick County Public Schools has eliminated the need to print over 500,000 sheets of paper, saving over 60 trees. Additionally, the school district no longer incurs the administrative burden and costs associated with paper flyer distribution.
